Fandom Comics Five-Year Anniversary! - Tue, May 25th, 2010 - 5:37 pm PDT |
| Well, we did it, FIVE years! It has been a HELL of a run so far. We have accomplished quite a bit in the five long years since we opened (that same weekend Revenge of the Sith opened, if you'll all remember). Our Clone Wars Saga Edition Fan Sourcebook continues to be our biggest draw, but our Fan Comics are coming back in a BIG way. In honor of our five-year anniversary, I'd like to announce a new fan-comic project we have been sitting on for some months now. A while back, I wrote a script for a Lumiya fan-comic, with the aim of fleshing out the character's backstory, explaining the transitions the character makes between her disparate marvel appearances and her Legacy novel appearances. Planned as a series of mini comics, the very first of which will get posted at the end of summer! The artist is the very talented Aaron Johnson, also known as Lightening Powered on DeviantArt. He has done a few pin-ups for the sourcebook for us in the past, including Jedi Padawan Jin-lo Rayce and others. You can view his Lumiya concept art here and his DeviantArt page here.
